Support Our Troops Now!

There are approximately 26 Soldiers, including 3 women in our US Army Platoon. They are deployed from Georgia and will be in Afghanistan until September of 2010.

Our soldiers are living in B Huts made of plywood and it is cold. There is a PX but supplies are limited. There is running water, but it frequently runs out. This is a DUSTOFF (MEDEVAC) Platoon: when a soldier or anyone else gets hurt, they go get them and many times the injured are children. They also fly missions to remote bases that only get their supplies via chopper.

Joe Corbi’s managed to bring some “Home” to these soldiers. Recently, we sent 26 pizza kits to our platoon and we are happy to say that they were well received!
